so back to the matter at hand. more than anything, the wait was in part due to waiting on the block to come back from the machine shop. not to often a 3.2 shows up, let alone one that needs to be punched out .5 over the OEM bore of the block? so i left the block and the new pistons (to be matched for clearance) with them until they could take the time to re-tool their set up, and get it done for me. once it was back, Lawrence helped me out by taping the block all up for me, and helping to prep it for paint. so after that, a good coat of PuR15 black engine enamel so it could dry before we started reassembly

then it was getting all the new pistons set up with all their rings and such. then to get the stock pistons off of the Integrated Engineering con rods i had gotten in there last year. then on to the new JE 8.5 - 1 compression ratio, 84.5mm (.5 over sized) pistons, and True Seal rings. once that was accomplished, then back into the motor they need to go..

more here soon. rainy weekends equal time to get the blog updated lol. and tomorrow i get to put the timing chains on for my morning gig..
